Ambassador meets Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco

On September 2, 2019, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Russian Federation, H.E. Haidar Mansour Hadi, met Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Russian Federation H.E. Lotfi Bouchaara, to discuss the bilateral relations between Iraq and Morocco as well as the last political developments in the region.

At the beginning of the meeting, H.E. Haidar Mansour Hadi welcomed H.E. Lotfi Bouchaara who recently assumed his duties as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Russian Federation, wishing him success in his diplomatic work, then briefed on the latest developments in Iraq after the victory of the Iraqi security forces over terrorist groups, noting that the Iraqi Government has begun to rebuild the cities that were destroyed by terrorist groups and return the displaced to their cities, that Iraq is gradually recovering from the effects of terrorism, and that the Iraqi Government stresses its support to the stability of Iraq and its territorial integrity after the great victory achieved against ISIL. H.E. Haidar Mansour Hadi also affirmed Iraq’s keenness to work together with the Arab brothers in order to maintain stability in the region, stressing on that Iraq is working with everyone away from the policy of entering the international poles. Iraq declared its policy – the maintenance of good neighbor relations without interfering in its internal affairs.

For his part, H.E. Lotfi Bouchaara expressed his happiness for the positive developments in Iraq, pointing out to that the return of strong Baghdad supports the stability in the region, and that the stability of Iraq is necessary for the stability of the region, stressing on the importance of returning of politically and economically strong Iraq.
