Humanitarian call

The Iraq Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defence call upon all Iraqi citizens or anyone who can provide information to the following bodies: 1) the headquarters of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad, 2) The Iraqi embassies and consulates accredited abroad, and 3) The International committee of the Red Cross in Baghdad. The information relates to the default buriel sites for Iraqis’ remains or Kuwaitis missing during the second Gulf war. Also, any data pertains to the location of properties represented by records and the Kuwaiti Amiri archive. In accordance with the humanitarian requirements and an expression of brotherhood and good faith. This corresponds to Iraq’s international commitment in this regard.

تهيب وزارة الخارجية ووزارة الدفاع العراقية بالمواطنيين العراقيين كافة او اي شخص بمتلك معلومات عن مواقع دفن مفترضة لرفات عراقيين او كويتيين، فقدوا خلال حرب الخليج الثانية او جرائها، او اي معلومات عن اماكن وجود الممتلمات الكويتية المتمثلة في المحفوظات والارشيف الاميري الكويتي الى سرعة الادلاء بها والتواصل بشأنها مع وزارتي الخارجية والدفاع العراقيتين او سفارات وقنصليات وبعثات جمهورية العراق المعتمدة في الخارج، وبعثة اللجنة الدولية للصليب الاحمر في بغداد، وذلك تماشياً مع متطلبات هذا الملف الانساني وتعبيراً عن حرص العراق حكومة وشعباً على بذل اقصى درجات التعاون المبني على اسس الاخوة وحسن النية وبما ينسجم مع التزامات العراق الدولية في هذا الشأن.
