Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Arrives in AL Riyadh to participate in the Arab-Islamic Summit and Meets the Palestinian Prime Minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Fuad Hussein, arrived in AL-Riyadh, the Saudi capital, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, to participate in the ministerial meeting of the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic Summit.

The Minister met the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, Mr. Mohammed Mustafa. Both sides discussed the means for developing the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, moreover, they reviewed the most important regional and international issues of common interest and the developments related to the tensions in the Middle East region and exchanging the views on the impact of the next US administration and the new President Trump’s stance regarding the political situation of the countries in the region. His Excellency Mr. Fuad Hussein affirmed Iraq’s firm stance in supporting the Palestinian case, affirming that the Iraqi government and its people stand with the Palestinian people in their efforts to achieve their legal rights.
