The Consul General attends the Turkish Consulate’s reception.

At the invitation of the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye, Consul General Dr Wael Al-Robaaie attended the reception held to mark the anniversary of Türkiye’s Democracy and National Unity Day.

The reception was attended by a distinguished gathering of political, community, and media figures from across the region, as well as Members of the House of Commons and several local authority leaders. The programme included official speeches commemorating the occasion, followed by cordial discussions and exchanges on matters of mutual interest among the attendees.

During the event, the Consul General reaffirmed the depth of the longstanding relations between Iraq and Türkiye and the close bilateral cooperation across a wide range of fields. He also underscored the importance of further strengthening and developing these ties in a manner that serves the shared interests of both countries and contributes to promoting stability and prosperity across the region and beyond.
