The Europe Day Short Film Festival

The Consul General of the Republic of Iraq in Manchester attends the Europe Day Short Film Festival.

In response to the invitation extended, the Consul General, Dr Wael Al-Robaaie, attended the Europe Day Short Film Festival 2026,, which was held at the Instituto Cervantes Manchester in cooperation with the Spanish Consulate General and with the participation of several European Union missions and consulates in the city of Manchester.

The event was attended by the Mayor of Manchester, a number of Consuls General, diplomats, and cultural and social figures, as well as representatives of cultural and artistic institutions in the city. Friendly discussions were exchanged, highlighting the importance of cultural cooperation, strengthening communication between different peoples and cultures, and enhancing the bonds of cooperation among diplomatic missions within the working area.
