As part of ongoing visits, meetings, and regular engagements, the Consul General, Dr Wael Al-Robaaie, met with a number of prominent figures in the city of Manchester. Including MP Afzal Khan, representing the Rusholme area in central Manchester; the former Lord Mayor of Manchester and current Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan; the Libyan Consul General; MP Navendu Mishra of Stockport in Greater Manchester; and Mr Shaukat Ali, Deputy Lord Mayor of Manchester and Councillor of Cheetham Hill.

During the event, discussions were held and views were exchanged, with an emphasis on the importance of continued communication and coordination in order to serve local communities in Manchester and to strengthen mutual relations with the United Kingdom.
