H.E the Ambassador Meets with the Advisor to the President of the Assembly of the Portuguese Republic

His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Adel Mustafa Kamil met with Ms. Isabel Pishtana, Advisor to the President of the Assembly of the Portuguese Republic, at the Assembly’s headquarters, where they discussed ways to further strengthen Iraqi–Portuguese relations, particularly in the parliamentary sphere.

The meeting also addressed preparations for the upcoming visit of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Fuad Hussein to the Portuguese Republic. In addition, the two sides discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation between the Iraqi Council of Representatives and the Portuguese Assembly of the Republic through the exchange of visits and expertise, as well as strengthening institutional communication to broaden the prospects for cooperation between the two friendly countries.
