The Ambassador receives the President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee

His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Adel Mustafa met with Dr. Aqeel Muftan, President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, and his accompanying delegation, and in a fruitful dialogue session that addressed the reality of Iraqi sports and the challenges it faces.

The session included ways to benefit from the long-standing Olympic sports experiences in Portugal and mechanisms to enhance cooperation between the two countries to develop the Iraqi sports infrastructure and support young athletes.

We seek to achieve a qualitative sports partnership that contributes to raising the level of sports and enhances cultural and sports exchange between Iraq and Portugal.
