Deputy Prime Minister And Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein Meets United States National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, met with Mr. Jack Sullivan National Security Advisor to the President of the United States of America in Washington D.C, on March 22, 2024.
They discussed the outcomes of the Higher Military Commission meetings between the two countries, as well as the security situation and challenges facing Iraq and the region.
In addition to Minister Hussein expressed his thanks to the American administration for starting with arrangements of the upcoming visit of His Excellency the Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation in mid April, where the visit will be coordinated through expanded meetings between representatives of the two countries in preparation for the important visit that will address a number of mutual topics especially in the fields of energy, economy and the prospects for promoting them, and combating terrorism.
On his part, Mr. Sullivan indicated the importance of this visit at this particular time, in developing the relation between the two countries and support Iraq in various different fields.
