RECEPTION IN HONOR OF THE CHARGE D’AFFAIRES A.I.

On October 4, 2021 the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine received Dr. Taan Hussein Abbas Hussein, the newly appointed Charge d’Affaires a.i.

Deputy Head of Mission, Counselor Mr. Abd-Alsalam Monadel Akef Hammudi welcomed the Charge d’Affaires, and wished him success in performing his diplomatic duties in Ukraine, stressing the keenness of the Embassy’s staff to carry out their work duties to the fullest.

For his part, Charge d’Affaires delivered a speech in which he welcomed Embassy’s staff, and congratulated them on the 89th Iraqi National Day, and conveyed to them the greetings of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, and the need to continue working and performing diplomatic tasks actively and with the highest sense of responsibility to serve the national interests of Iraq and to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the friendly Iraqi and Ukrainian peoples as well as to protect the interests of the Iraqi Community, residing in Ukraine and students studying in different Ukrainian educational institutions.
