IRAQ’S AMBASSADOR TO UKRAINE ATTENDS THE SOLEMN SITTING OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE ON THE OCCASION OF THE 25th ANNIVERSARY OF THE DAY OF THE CONSTITUTION OF UKRAINE
At the official invitation of H.E. Mr. Dmytro Razumkov, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Bakir Ahmed Al-Jaff, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine attended on June 28, 2021, the solemn sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine.
During the solemn meeting, H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Dmytro Razumkov, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, H.E. Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister of Ukraine, delivered speeches in which they emphasized the symbolism of the Constitution and its importance in the life, history and independence of the country, noting the importance of respecting the principles enshrined in the constitution, such as public freedoms, human rights and the respect for the will of the people.
It is worth noting that the solemn meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament was attended by former Presidents of Ukraine, Chairpersons of the previous convocations of the parliament, senior Government officials and Parliamentarians, Heads of Arab and Foreign Diplomatic Missions, Representatives of international organizations, accredited to Ukraine, Clergymen, Social and Scientific figures.
