IRAQ’S AMBASSADOR TO UKRAINE ATTENDS INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITIONS

On June 15, 2021 His Excellency Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine Mr. Bakir Ahmed Al-Jaff, accompanied by Military Attaché Staff Commodore (Navy) Mr. Alshawi Atheer Abdulrhada Jassim, attended the opening ceremony of the XVII International Specialized Exhibition “Arms and Security” and the XII session of the International Aviation and Space Salon (Airworld- XXI), which were held at the International Exhibition Centre in Kyiv for the period from 15 till 18 June 2021, with the participation of more than 330 companies, including 35 foreign companies from 13 countries.

During his presence at the Exhibition, H.E. Ambassador Al-Jaff  met with Director of State Enterprise “Specialized Foreign Trade Firm “PROGRESS” (which is a member of the State Concern “Ukroboronprom”) Mr. Taras Shyiko, and discussed ways to develop bilateral cooperation  between Iraq and Ukraine in the military field in the interests of the two friendly countries.

It is worth noting that the opening ceremony was also attended by His Excellency Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mr. Andrii Taran, many Ukrainian military officials as well as Heads of Arab and Foreign Diplomatic Missions accredited to Ukraine.
