IRAQ’S AMBASSADOR TO UKRAINE ATTENDS THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF UKRAINE WITH HEADS OF FOREIGN MISSIONS

On December 18, 2019 H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine Mr. Bakir Ahmed Al-Jaff attended the annual meeting of the Ukraine’s Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Vadym Prystaiko with the Heads of Foreign Diplomatic Missions accredited to Ukraine.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Prystaiko congratulated the attendees on the New Year 2020 and Christmas holidays, wishing them good health, success and for their friendly countries – progress and prosperity. H.E. Minister Prystaiko in his speech touched upon the Paris Summit in the Normandy format, that was held on December 9, 2019, with the participation of the President of the French Republic, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, the President of the Russian Federation and the President of Ukraine, stressing that his country is adhered to its national principles and is committed to further pursuing diplomatic instruments to restore full sovereignty over the whole of its territory, reaffirming Ukraine’s firm opposition to any forms of interference in its internal affairs.
