IRAQ’S AMBASSADOR TO UKRAINE MEETS THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE IRAQI COMMUNITY IN UKRAINE

On July 26, 2019 His Excellency Mr. Bakir Ahmed Al-Jaff, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine met with representatives of the Iraqi Community in Ukraine, headed by the Iraqi scientist Dr. Adnan Al-Kadhimi. During the meeting H.E. Mr. Ambassador stressed the Embassy’s keenness to provide all necessary assistance and support to the Iraqi Community in Ukraine, pointing to the fact that thousands of Iraqis are residing in Ukrainian cities for studying or working purposes. H.E. Ambassador Al-Jaff added that H.E. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq Dr. Mohamad Ali Alhakim constantly draws the attention of the Iraqi Missions to the necessity of supporting the Iraqi Communities abroad and providing all required assistance to them.

For their part, the representatives of the Iraqi Community praised Mr. Ambassador’s efforts and his continuous support to the Iraqi Community, as well as following up its needs and removing possible obstacles faced by them during their stay or work in Ukraine

H.E. Ambassador Al-Jaff also appreciated the efforts and role played by the Iraqi Community in the continuous and fruitful interaction with the Embassy for the benefit of our beloved Iraq. On their part, the representatives of the Iraqi Community expressed their deep gratitude to H.E. Mr. Ambassador and the Embassy’s staff for the expeditious completion of their requests in their best interests.
