IRAQI CHARGE D’AFFAIRES MEETS THE CHIEF EDITOR OF THE UKRAINIAN INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMATIC JOURNAL “FASHION OF DIPLOMACY”

On October 25, 2021 Mr. Taan Hussein Abbas Hussein, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine, Minister Plenipotentiary met at the Embassy’s headquarters with Mrs. Anna Avramenko, Chief Editor of the Ukrainian International Diplomatic magazine “Fashion of Diplomacy”.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Chargé d’Affaires welcomed the Esteemed Guest and reviewed the bilateral relations between Iraq and Ukraine, stressing the Iraqi Government’s keenness to strengthen and develop relations of friendship and cooperation with the Government and people of Ukraine in various fields, particularly in the fields of trade and economics through encouraging companies and businessmen in both countries, to establish joint investment projects, and hold economic forums and exchange visits. Chargé d’Affaires stressed the important role of the media in shedding light on political, economic and cultural life in the Republic of Iraq and Ukraine.

For her part, Mrs. Anna Avramenko reviewed the activities of her media organization including magazine “Fashion of Diplomacy”, and the activities, which the organization holds within the framework of cultural diplomacy through the involvement of Ukrainian governmental and non-governmental agencies and foreign embassies accredited in Ukraine, in a way that enhances and serves common interests.

The meeting was attended by the Embassy’s responsible for the cultural and information affairs, first secretary Mr. Al-Bayati Ali Murtadha Said.
