IRAQI EMBASSY’S CHARGE D’AFFAIRES PARTICIPATES IN СELEBRATION CEREMONY OF MAWLID AL-NABI AL-SHARIF

On October 19, 2021 Mr. Taan Hussein Abbas Hussein, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine, Minister Plenipotentiary, attended the grand official celebration of the Mawlid al-Nabi al-Sharif, which was held by the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine at the “Ar-Rahma” Mosque in Kyiv. The event was also attended by a number of Ukrainian Government officials, and parliamentarians, Ambassadors of Islamic States accredited to Ukraine, foreign and Ukrainian religious, social and cultural figures, as well as members of Muslim communities in Ukraine.

Charge d’Affaires congratulated the Head of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine, the Grand Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim on this cheerful occasion, praying to Almighty God to bring it back to Muslims in Iraq, Ukraine and the whole world with goodness and blessings.

During the celebration, Prophetic praises and speeches were deliver in different languages by participants representatives of several Ukrainian cities. Also, an exhibition was held on Islamic heritage, achievements of the Religious Administration, educational projects and mosques to be built in Ukraine.
