IRAQI EMBASSY’S CHARGE D’AFFAIRES MEETS THE DEAN OF THE ARAB DIPLOMATIC CORPS IN UKRAINE

On October 12, 2021 Mr. Taan Hussein Abbas Hussein, Charge d’Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine, Minister Plenipotentiary met with H.E. Dr Rashed Hammad Al-Adwani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Ukraine, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Ukraine.

The two sides reviewed the friendly relations between the two fraternal countries, which overcame most of the previous problems and pending issues, and they touched upon  The Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership and the participation of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait in the mentioned conference, as well as the visit of  H.E. Mr. Mustafa Al-Kadhimi Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq to the State of Kuwait last August, and the positive outcome resulting from it, thereby contributing to strengthening bilateral relations between the two fraternal countries.

The Charge d’Affaires expressed his hope that the efforts of Arab diplomatic missions in Ukraine would be unified, in a way that serves common Arab issues and interests.

During the meeting, H.E. Kuwaiti Ambassador Al-Adwani congratulated the Chargé d’Affairs on assuming his diplomatic duties in Ukraine, wishing him continued success.

In conclusion, the Charge d’Affaires expressed his gratitude to H.E. Dr. Rashed Hammad Al-Adwani, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Ukraine, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Ukraine for the warm reception and hospitality, praising the brotherly ties that link the Republic of Iraq with the fraternal Arab countries.
