IRAQ’S AMBASSADOR TO UKRAINE MEETS HEAD OF THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND EDUCATION AT THE NATIONAL AVIATION UNIVERSITY

On September 18, 2019 His Excellency Mr. Bakir Ahmed Al-Jaff, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine received at the Embassy’s headquarters Mr. Viacheslav Tymokhin, Head of the Institute of International Cooperation and Education at the National Aviation University.

At the beginning of the meeting H.E. Mr. Ambassador welcomed the Esteemed Guest and overviewed the bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and Ukraine in various fields, in particular academic and educational area. H.E. Ambassador Al-Jaff pointed out that thousands of Iraqi students had graduated from Ukrainian universities and institutes in the past years, including highly qualified capabilities that hold public posts in Iraq, stressing the Embassy’s keenness to follow up the affairs of the Iraqi students currently studying at the National Aviation University, in total 33 students.

For his part, Mr. Tymokhin expressed his gratitude to H.E. Mr. Ambassador for the warm welcome and reception and provided a thorough overview of the activities of the National Aviation University, particularly the Institute of International Cooperation and Education headed by him, confirming the availability of competent and highly skilled teaching staff in different University’s departments in the fields of engineering and computer programming with the availability of the latest high techniques. Besides, Mr. Tymokhin informed about University’s desire to establish relations with Iraqi Universities of similar specialties and to share experience and information between them.
