IRAQ’S AMBASSADOR TO UKRAINE MEETS MERITED ART WORKER OF UKRAINE

In the framework of the regular meetings with Ukrainian academic and social figures, His Excellency Mr. Bakir Ahmed Al-Jaff, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine received on September 23, 2019 at the Embassy’s headquarters Professor of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts Mrs. Maya Kuptsova who is a friend to the Iraqi people.

H.E. Mr. Ambassador welcomed the Esteemed Guest and expressed his gratitude for her solidarity with the Government and People of Iraq in their fight against the forces of darkness and terrorism, stressing that the friendly Iraqi and Ukrainian peoples have common aspirations towards peace, security and social progress.

For her part, Mrs. Kuptsova praised Ambassador’s constant interest and keenness to develop cooperative relations between the Embassy and Ukrainian scientific and cultural institutions.

 During the meeting, the two Sides discussed issues of common interest, related to the education and scientific research as well as mutual cooperation between the two countries in this field.
