The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad organizes a reception in honor of the Commander of the Iraqi Air Force during his visit to Pakistan.

The staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad organized a dinner reception in honor of the Commander of the Iraqi Air Force, Air Marshal Shihab Jahid Ali, and his accompanying delegation, at the embassy headquarters.

H.E. Mr. Hamid Abbas Lafta, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad received the delegation and a number of Pakistani leaders and military figures.

Mr. Ambassador discussed with his distinguished guests some issues related to security and defense, in the presence of the Commander of the Iraqi Air Force, agreeing to strengthen cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and to develop military expertise of the Iraqi side, in a way that serves the interests of both countries.

The visit of the Iraqi delegation to Pakistan comes to discuss with their counterparts common issues and ways to benefit from them in order to achieve the common interests of both sides.
