The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad attends the meeting held at the Pakistani Foreign Ministry to discuss the decision of the Supreme Court of India.
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad Counselor Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Mohaisen, on 13/11/2019, attended the meeting held in the Pakistani Foreign Ministry for Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Islamabad to discuss the decision of the Supreme Court of India on the construction of a Hindu temple on the ruins of the “Babri Mosque”. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry during the meeting expressed its “deep concern” about this decision, while at the same time emphasized upon its decision of opening the Kartarpur border crossing with India to facilitate the safe passage of Sikh pilgrims.
