The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad celebrates the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the establishment of Iraqi Army.
The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad held a ceremony to mark the 101st anniversary of the establishment of the valiant Iraqi Army. On this occasion, The Embassy invited a number of Iraqi officers and students getting trainings in the Pakistan, in the presence of the Iraqi Military Attaché, Brigadier General Masood Salih Mohammad and staff of this Mission.
In this ceremony, the acting Charge de Affairs delivered a speech in which he praised the sacrifices and stances of the army to defeat all attempts by the enemies to undermine the sovereignty, security and dignity of our dear country.
The Military Attache also delivered a speech in which he recalled the sacrifices, heroisms and martyrs of the Iraqi army in order to keep the Iraqi flag raised.
In conclusion, the celebrations culminated in a supplication for the martyrs of Iraq with mercy and forgiveness, and for Iraq and its people who sacrificed the blessing of security and safety.
