The Iraqi Foreign Minister meets with the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Islamabad, the Capital of Pakistan
Honorable Dr. Fuad Hussein, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq has met with Honorable Dr. Arif Alvi, President the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, at the President House on 11/8/2021.
The two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and opening up prospects for joint cooperation to achieve common interests in various fields.
During the meeting, Honorable Minister conveyed the greetings of Honorable Dr. Barham Salih, President of the Republic of Iraq, and Honorable Mr. Mustafa al-Kadhimi, Prime Minister and their affirmation of the importance of relations between the two countries.
For his part, the Pakistani President praised the level of the developed relationship between the two friendly countries, and ways to enhance it, stressing upon his country’s support for the Iraqi government in its war against extremist terrorism, and its efforts to combat corruption.
