The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad meets with the Minister of State and Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad, Mr. Hamid Abbas Lafta, on 17/3/2021, met with Mr. Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari Minister of State and Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.
They exchanged words of welcome and acquaintance, and discussed the latest developments regarding the draft cooperation agreement in the field of skilled manpower between the two countries.
Mr. Bukhari also requested that the necessary facilities be provided to obtain entry visas for Pakistani workers who work with Iraqi companies.
The Ambassador expressed his cooperation in providing facilities and obtaining visa approvals.
Mr. Bukhari expressed his desire to visit Iraq for the purpose of arranging and coordinating a conference to encourage Pakistani investment companies to operate in Iraq.
