The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad holds a dinner invitation in honor of Honorable Iraqi Minister of Defense and his accompanying delegation during his visit to Pakistan.
H.E. Mr. Hamid Abbas Lafta, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad, on 24/2/2021, in the presence of the embassy staff, held a dinner invitation in honor of the Iraqi Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Juma’a Enad Saadon Al-Jubouri, and the accompanying delegation, at the embassy’s headquarters.
A number of Arab military attaches accredited to Pakistan, and a number of Pakistani government officials were also invited.
Honorable Minister discussed with the Arab military attaches issues of common interest, and ways to cooperate with Iraq in a way that serves everyone’s interests, pointing at the same time to the threat of the terrorist organization “ISIS” on Iraq and the region, praising the heroic role of all types of Iraqi security forces in defeating this extremist organization.
The Iraqi delegation’s visit to Pakistan comes to discuss with their counterparts common issues, security and defense aspects, in addition to developing military expertise on both sides and ways to benefit from them in order to achieve the common interests of both sides.
