The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad meets the President of Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Karachi.
H.E. Mr. Hamid Abbas Lafta, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad, on 27/01/2021, has met with Mr. Mian Nasser Hayat Maggu, President of Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Karachi and a number of officials of the Federation in Karachi.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the volume of mutual trade exchange and their interest to increase it to the level that suits the level of relations that link the two countries.
Both sides discussed the prospects of cooperation and linkages with Iraqi chambers of Commerce and Industry in order to broader the range of economic work and to develop the relations with trade chambers that enhance the economic partnership and promote the cooperation between public and private sectors, pointing out to the aspects of import and export and ways of enhancing them.
The Ambassador assured to try to tackle all the problems and to facilitate pakistani business men and investors to issue them multiple visas to Iraq.
