The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad receives the Special Adviser to the Pakistani Prime Minister.
H.E. Ambassador Hamid Abbas Lafta, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad, has received, on 12/01/2021, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and Chairman of the Council of Pakistan Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Tahir Ashrafi, at the Embassy.
The Ambassador welcomed this visit, referring to the friendly relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen them.
On the other hand, the Ambassador affirmed that his country would continue to achieve issues of common interest, referring at the same time to the achievements made by the Iraqi government in this regard.
The two sides concluded their meeting by talking about the unity and stability of the Islamic world, and the efforts aiming to achieve it.
