The Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad paid a courtesy call upon Additional Secretary (Middle East) in Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Chargé d’ Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam paid a courtesy call, on 09/03/2020, upon the Additional Secretary (Middle East) of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Khalid Hussain Memon.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Abdul Salam extended congratulations and blessings to Mr. Khalid Memon, upon his appointment at new tasks. During the meeting, both sides talked about the conditions of the two countries and their common interests and risks in various fields.

On the other hand, the subject of signing Memorandum of Understanding pertaining to the two sides and means of activating them was discussed.

Both sides reviewed the talks about the participation of a number of Iraqi diplomats in the courses currently held in Pakistan, which would enhance joint cooperation in many areas of training, which raise the quality of the scientific side in the level of diplomatic work and related protocol obligations.

  Finally, Mr. Khalid appreciated this visit, considering it a mission, expressing at the same time his cooperation and great interest in achieving the common interest of the two friendly countries.
