Acting Chargéd’ Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad meets the President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Acting Chargé d’Affairs Counselor Mr. Abdulsalam Saddam Muheisen,met on 20/2/2020, with the President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan.

This meeting comes as part of a series of meetings held by the Acting Chargé d’Affaires, in order to develop and advance bilateral relations in all aspects, the most significantly is the investment aspect, because Iraq has fertile ground that qualifies it to attract investment companies to work in the reconstruction of infrastructure in Iraq.

On the other side, Mr. Abdul Salam invited the discreet Pakistani investment companies to work in Iraq and this invitation comes within the policy of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs to open up to countries, especially in the area of ​​investment and security.

Moreover, Mr. Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan welcomed this visit, which he described as a mission, calling for at the same time to intensify meetings between the two countries to come out with a common ground, which would be in the interest of the two friendly countries.
