Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad meets with the Chairman of the Pakistan Investment Board.
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad Counselor / Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam met, on 20/11/2019 with the Chairman of the Pakistan Investment Board, Mr. Zubair Gailani.
This meeting comes as part of a series of meetings held by Mr. Abdul Salam, with keenness to develop bilateral relations in all aspects, most importantly the investment side, because of Iraq’s fertile ground to qualify to bring investment companies to work in reconstruction, especially liberated areas.
On the other side, Mr. Abdul Salam invited Pakistani investment companies to work in Iraq, and this call comes within the policy of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry to open up to countries, especially in the areas of investment and security.
Finally, the President of the Pakistan Investment Board welcomed this visit, which he considered as a mission, in preparation for cooperation between the two countries in the field of investment and to serve the two friendly Peoples.
