The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad, meets with the Pakistani Minister of Maritime Affairs.
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad Counselor/Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Mohaisen, met on 4/11/2019, with Mr. Syed Ali Haider Zaidi, Pakistani Minister of Maritime Affairs.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them, and increasing coordination between the two sides in international issues of common interest, especially those related to investment in the fields of transport, ports and ships, and support the private sector.
Mr. Abdul Salam stressed the importance of cooperation in the field of water resources, exchange of experiences and capacity building.
Finally, the Pakistani Minister of Maritime Affairs expressed his full cooperation with Iraq in the common interest between the two countries. At the same time, he called for intensifying meetings to chart the right path towards creating a common environment for cooperation in all fields.
