The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad, on 29/10/2019, attended the exhibition held by the Handicrafts Association of Pakistan, which is popular in Pakistan.
The exhibition aimed to preserve Pakistan’s historical heritage and crafts by attracting craftsmen from Pakistani different regions to showcase their creativity in handicrafts.
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs explained that such exhibitions highlight the identification of Pakistani culture through the works displayed over the years.
On the other side, the Pakistani government is seeking to stimulate manual entrepreneurship in what it considers an economic approach with great impact as a factor in preserving the heritage and traditions.
