The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad paid a courtesy call on the Foreign Secretary at the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs Counselor Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Muheisen paid a courtesy call on 24/10/2019 on Mr. Sohail Mahmood, Foreign Secretary at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, both sides discussed what came on the sidelines of the meetings of (74th) Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations in order to promote bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to develop them to achieve common interests.
They also discussed the issue of enhancing visits of the officials of the two countries following the invitations from the two sides.
On the other side, Mr. Sohail Mahmood assured that the Pakistani Foreign Ministry supports the successful steps of the Iraqi Embassy in order to provide the best in all aspects.
Finally, the Acting Chargé d’ Affairs conveyed the greetings of Iraqi Foreign Minister and Foreign Secretaries to their Pakistani counterparts.
