Acting Chargé d’ Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq hosts the Director General, Protocol Division and the Director General, Middle East Division of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad Counselor Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Muhaisen, hosted on 23/10/2019, a reception for Mr. Abrar Hussain Hashemi, Director General of Protocol Division and Mr. Zahid Raza, Director General of Middle East Division of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The reception was attended by the Consul/ Mr. Uday Adnan Al-Mamouri, the Deputy Consul/ Mr. Asaad Ali Khalaf and Incharge of Protocol Affairs Mr. Aseel Nouri Talib.
Maintaining contacts, strengthening ties and intensifying the meetings between the Iraqi Embassy and the Pakistani Foreign Ministry have been discussed.
On the other side, the Pakistani guests appreciated the distinguished role played by the embassy on the provision of consular services, and talked about the success of the Arbaeeniya visit of Imam Hussain (AS) this year on facilitating Pakistani visitors without any obstacles.
In addition, the two sides agreed to continue the successful approach and continuous support for the common interest of the two friendly Peoples.
Finally, the Pakistani guests thanked and appreciated the hospitality and reception, wishing Iraq and its People security and prosperity.
