Acting Chargé d’ Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad welcomes Pakistani Minister of Religious Affairs and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs Counselor Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Muheisen, on Wednesday 9/10/2019, welcomed the Minister of Religious Affairs Mr. Noor Ul Haq Qadri and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Mr. Nadeem Afzal Chan, in the headquarter of Iraq Embassy.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the situation of the two countries and their common interests and risks, and reviewed aspects of bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in various fields.
Both Sides also discussed a number of issues related to the work of the Iraqi embassy, reviewing the talks about religious visits, in particular the Arbaeeniya visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in 2019 and ways to succeed to serve the distinguished visitors.
In addition, the Chargé d’ Affairs assured that the Iraqi Embassy is committed, in accordance with the laws and instructions, to provide all services as of its assigned duties.
Finally, the two guests thanked the Acting Chargé d’ Affairs and the Iraqi Embassy staff for their hospitality and reception, expressing their full support for the success of the Arbaeeniya visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
