Acting Chargé d’ Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad meets the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs Counselor Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Muheisen, on Monday 7/10/2019, meets the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, at the President House in Islamabad. The bilateral relations between the two countries have been discussed and the both sides also reviewed prospects of cooperation in all fields that serve the interests of both countries.
The President of Pakistan praised the successive victories achieved by the Iraqi army against the terrorist organization (Daesh), expressing his country’s support for Iraq in its war against terrorism and assuring that his country strongly supports the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Iraq.
As the Pakistani President conveyed his sincere greetings to the President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Barham Salih and to the Government of the Republic of Iraq.
