The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq paid a courtesy call upon H.E. the Ambassador Aftab Ahmed, Director General, Pakistani Foreign Service Academy.
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs Counselor Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Muheisen paid a courtesy call upon His Excellency the Ambassador Aftab Ahmed, Director General, Pakistani Foreign Service Academy on 26/9/2019. The Head of Political Affairs in the Embassy, Second Secretary/ Mrs. Wassan Jabbar Abdullah accompanied him in the meeting.
This meeting has been a part of the discussions to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Iraqi Foreign Service Institute and the Pakistan Foreign Service Academy.
On his part, the Acting Chargé d’ Affairs applauded the levels achieved by this Academy and the qualitative development accomplished in several areas.
He stressed upon the keenness to enhance mutual cooperation in a number of areas of training, such as knowledge building through scientific methods, which is now the backbone of the diplomacy and focuses upon the understanding of reality and to cover the paths taken by the world to accelerate its steps towards decision-making.
He also emphasized upon the significance of establishing a number of practical programs for the two countries that raise the quality of the scientific aspect in achieving the higher levels of diplomatic assignments, related protocol obligations and various mechanisms in dealing with world diplomats at all levels.
On his part, Ambassador Aftab Ahmed welcomed the Chargé d’ Affairs and his accompanying delegation, assuring his honor for strong relations between the two countries and keenness to develop all aspects of cooperation between the two countries towards broader horizons such as to consolidate the culture of dialogue and establish the principles of peace that seek to build more bridges of communication and connection between the two countries, wishing Iraq further progress and prosperity.
