The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq meets the Minister of State/Chairman, Board of Investment in Pakistan.
The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs Counselor Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Muheisen paid a courtesy call upon the Chairman of Board of Investment/ Minister of State Mr. Zubair Gilani in Islamabad on 25/9/2019. The Deputy Consul in the Embassy Mr. Mustafa Mohammed Khudhair accompanied him in the meeting.
This meeting comes as part of the series of meetings conducted by the Acting Chargé d’ Affairs, in an effort to develop bilateral relations in all fields, most importantly the investment field, because of Iraq’s fertile ground to attract investment companies to work in reconstruction, especially the liberated areas.
On his part, the Acting Chargé d’ Affairs invited Pakistani investment companies to work in Iraq, and this call comes within the policy of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to open up to the countries, especially in the area of investment and security.
