The Consulate of the Republic of Iraq in Frankfurt Commemorates the Victims of the Speicher Massacre

The Iraqi Consulate in Frankfurt held a commemorative gathering to mark the anniversary of the tragic Speicher massacre, attended by the consulate staff, in remembrance of the innocent martyrs who lost their lives unjustly in one of the most horrific crimes witnessed by Iraq.

During the gathering, the Head of Mission, Mr. Shihab Talib Al-Jadi, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that commemorating this crime reflects loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs and reinforces the values of national unity and the rejection of violence and extremism.

The gathering also included the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha and the observance of a minute of silence in tribute to the souls of Iraq’s martyrs.
