As of March 01, 2025, U.S citizens wishing to enter the Republic of Iraq can apply for an electronic visa through the link
The electronic visa will allow you to enter Iraq without need to visit an embassy or consulate. It is valid for 30 days and can be used for a single entry or multiple entries

Electronic Program for Entry Screening
the Ministry of Health has implemented an electronic program for screening entrants. Regarding this, we would like to clarify the following
Arab and foreign entrants must register on the electronic platform to schedule an appointment and determine the location of the screening upon entering Iraq if their stay exceeds (15) days
