The Iraqi Higher Committee for Health & National Safety

AnnouncementThe Iraqi Higher Committee for Health & National Safety (Competent to counter COVID19) has issued the following measures:

1. All arrivals to the Republic of Iraq whether through its air, land, or sea ports have to submit a PCR test report confirming negative result. The test should be made during (72) hours before boarding.

2. If the passenger arrived without submitting such PCR report as mentioned above, his passport shall be withhold by the competent authorities with home quarantine of the holder. The passenger must subject to PCR test within 72 hours at his/her expense by the laboratories approved by Ministry of Health. Other Health and legal measures may be imposed depending on the test result.

3. Airlines & other transport operators shall be considered legally and financially responsible to observe (PCR test- negative report) for their passengers as stated in the current instructions.
