Ambassador Al-Rikabi Meets with Belgian Minister Foreign Affairs

Ambassador Sadiq Al-Rikabi met on  29/11/2019 with the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders  at the margin of a reception held by European External Action Service on the occasion of end of term of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security ” Federica Mogherini”

The two sides discussed the importance of enhancing bilateral relation between the Republic of Iraq and the kingdom of Belgium and latest political events in Iraq  and measures taken by Iraqi government in response to protesters demands.

Ambassador Al-Rikabi congratulated the Minister for his new post as the EU Commissioner for Justice and reaffirming Iraq keenness to promote relations with EU.
