Ambassador Sadiq Al- Rikabi attended the opening ceremony of the “Training in Diplomatic Practices for Iraqi Diplomats” organized by the Egmont Institute on Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium

On 21/10/2019, His Excellency Ambassador Sadiq Al- Rikabi attended the opening ceremony of the “Training in Diplomatic Practices for Iraqi Diplomats” organized by the Egmont Institute on Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium for Ten Iraqi diplomats for the period  21-31/10/ 2019 

H.E. Ambassador Al- Rikabi expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium and for the Egmont Institute for organizing the course which will focus on how to enhance bilateral relations, between the two sides, that have established since the mid of last century and developed considerably after 2003.  He reiterated that this training program will be the beging of continuous long term cooperation between the Iraqi Foreign Services Institute in Baghdad and Egmont Institute in Brussels.

          The ceremony was also attended by Director of the Middle East Department Ambassador Raoul Delcorde, Mr. Daniel Bertrand, Coordinator of Negotiations, and Head of the Iraqi desk Mr. Luc Truyens from at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium, and From the Iraqi side was attended by the Deputy head of mission Dr. Fadhil Al-Raheem and the First Secretary                 Dr. Maha AlHaidar.
