H.E. Ambassador Sadiq Al Rikabi presents his credentials as a non-resident ambassador to the Duchy of Luxembourg

On 2/10/ 2020, H.E. Ambassador Sadiq Al-Rikabi presented his credentials as a non-resident ambassador to the Duchy of Luxembourg to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg Henri Albert Felix at the Grand Duke’s Palace in Luxembourg.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Al-Rikabi conveyed the greetings of H.E. the President of the Republic of Iraq Dr. Barham Salih to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. Both sides also discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and the Duchy of Luxembourg and the ways to advance joint cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields. From his  side, the Duke of Luxembourg stressed about the importance of the key role Iraq plays in the Middle East region.

Ambassador Al-Rikabi presented a summary of the latest political developments in the Middle East region and the role undertaking by Iraq for enhancing stability in the region to serve the interests of its people away from wars and crises.
