The meeting of the Senior Undersecretary, Abdul Karim Hashim Mustafa, with the Deputy Secretary General of NATO

The Senior Undersecretary Mr. Abdul Karim Hashim met NATO Deputy Secretary General Mr. Mircea Geoana at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on 14/1/2019 to discuss issues of mutual interest and recent developments in Iraq and the region. The meeting also discussed the latest demand of the President Trump to expand NATO presence in the Middle East as well as NATO support through its non-combat training mission (NMI) in Iraq. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Brussels, Mr. Sadiq al-Rikabi and Minister Plenipotentiary Mr. Fadil al-Raheem.
