The Visit of Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi and his accompanying delegation to China 19-23/9/2019
H.E. the Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi and accompanying delegation visited the Peopl’s Republic of China for 19-23/9/2019, as he arrived in Anhui province Hefei city on September 19th to participate in the World Manufacturing Convention held on September 20th, followed by a meeting with the Governor and secretary of the CPC Central Committee. Later that day H.E. Abd Al-Mahdi visited the automobile company (JAC) and solar energy company.
The Prime Minister visited Shanghai on 21/9/2019, and met the Governor of the city, and also visited Shanghai electric company and the deep waters harbor in Shanghai.
Later in the evening, H.E. Abd Al-Mahdi traveled to the capital Beijing on September 21st. On the morning of September 22nd the delegation set off to visit the Great Wall of China and major Chinese company (Huawei) and others.
On September 23, the start of the Third Iraqi-Chinese Economic Cooperation Forum was held under the auspices of the Prime Minister, followed by holding specialized sessions for the ministers, and in the afternoon the Prime Minister went to lay a wreath on the monument of Heroes of the Chinese People, then the start of the official reception ceremony by his counterpart Premier LI Keqiang, and holding talks and signing a number of memorandums of understanding and agreements related to reconstruction and infrastructure development in Iraq, then discussing the ways of strengthening the strategic partnership. In the evening a special meeting was held between H.E. Mr. Adil Abd Al-Mahdi and the esteemed President of the People’s Republic of China H.E. Xi Jinping.
