Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Telephone Call from His Saudi Counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan

On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Fuad Hussein, received a telephone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with the government and people of the Republic of Iraq about the recent developments, confirming the Kingdom’s support for all efforts which aim to spare Iraq and its brotherly people the scourge of division and internal conflict, adding that his country supports the security and stability of Iraq.

The two sides also discussed the outcomes of Foreign Minister’s visit, Mr Fuad Hussein to the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the bilateral relations between Riyadh and Tehran.
