Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets the President of the Turkish Defence Industrialization Corporation

Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has met the President of the Turkish Defence Industrialization Corporation, Mr Ismail Demir, and Mr Temel Kotil, General Manager of Aerospace, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum. The two sides discussed ways to enhance the military cooperation between the two countries, and the mechanisms to scale up support for Iraq in the post-eradication phase of ISIS terrorist gangs. 

The meeting also included a definition of the latest products and advanced technology in the field of defence industrialization and others, and they discussed the possibility of cooperation between the two countries in the future in several areas. 

On his part, the president of the Turkish Defence Industrialization Corporation affirmed their readiness to contribute to the development of defence manufacturing, adding that “we are fully prepared to cooperate and coordinate with you in this field to enhance cooperation and strengthen the close bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries.
