Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Fuad Hussein, Discusses with His Jordanian and French Counterparts Holding the Second Round of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Fuad Hussein, has discussed with Jordanian Foreign Minister, Mr Ayman Al-Safadi and French Foreign Minister, Ms Catherine Colonna holding the Second Round of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, to be held in Amman.
During the joint tripartite meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, they discussed the preparations related to the agenda and objectives of the conference, which aims at maintaining the dialogue between the concerned countries, creating a state of cooperation and stability in the region, building economic partnerships, and protecting Iraq from external threats.
In conclusion, Minister Fuad Hussein has suggested to his Jordanian and French counterparts that the secretariat for the second round of the conference could be jointly run by an Iraqi administration.
