Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Fuad Hussein Receives National Security Adviser Mr Qasem Al-Araji

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Fuad Hussein, has received the National Security Adviser, Mr Qasem Al-Araji. During the meeting, the latest developments of the political and security situation in Iraq and the region were reviewed.

On his part, the Minister affirmed the importance of the role played by Iraq in resolving disputes, based on the principle of dialogue and diplomatic channels to spare Iraq any possible setbacks.

The two sides also discussed the Iraqi government’s decision on transferring the Iraqi families from the Syrian al-Hol camp to Iraq and the government’s efforts in that regard.
